I stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights while exploring the area, and I was thoroughly impressed. The rich history and well-maintained Art Deco style added a unique charm to my experience. The staff were friendly, making me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. My spacious room was comfortable, featuring a huge bed and efficient air conditioning. Breakfast was tasty with quick replenishment, and having a balcony with a lovely view was a good bonus.
I couldn't recommend more this hotel.

The refund process of the room price for a second room, which I had cancelled free of charge! It was a drama without end, totally bureaucratic and cost me half a holiday and a lot of nerves! Never again!

Everything is perfect, the room is luxury and amazingly comfortable with a perfect view and a/c, for instance. The location is favourable, in the heart of the city.

We had an amazing romantic getaway! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it super easy to explore the area. The historic Art Deco style of the hotel is gorgeous and well-maintained. We also loved having breakfast every morning-the spread was delicious and the staff made sure everything was fresh and quickly replenished. Plus, our room had a lovely little balcony with a fantastic view, which was the cherry on top!
There were a few hiccups. Our room, unfortunately, was close to the elevator, so we could hear guests coming and going at night, which wasn't ideal for us. when we arrived earlier, we were given some mixed messages about check-in times, which was a bit frustrating. Just a couple of small points, though—overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay here was a good surprise, offering fantastic value for our money. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff treated us like family, making our experience enjoyable.
The morning meal could use a few more vegetarian options.

Fairly clean place and excellent location, appreciated very very helpful and amazingly nice staff. Location: the hotel was really close to the main attractions of Petropolis, the Cathedral, and the main church. It was a couple of blocks away from Carius Burger, where you can have dinner. When we checked in, a double room with a balcony was ready.
The staff was incredibly slow.

great service but slow hot water
The staff at the reception provided really good service. The room was not only spacious but also equipped with a huge, comfortable bed that allowed us to rest well during our three-night stay.
The hot water in the shower took an unreasonably long time to start flowing.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the spacious room with a super comfy bed and the delicious breakfast options available each morning. The leisure areas, like the sauna and TV lounge, were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The only minor hitch was that the hot water in the shower took a little while to kick in, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 😊

We visited the Imperial Palace and explored the historic center. The hotel was immaculate with great breakfast and helpful staff. Don't forget to check out the beautiful before and after photos in the breakfast room!
The only downside was some noise from the dogs and air compressors at the back of the hotel, which could be a bit distracting at times.

Historic charm and great service!
The staff was helpful. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Petropolis. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great variety of options including freshly baked pastries. The hot water in the shower took a while to warm up, a minor inconvenience.
